IT'S LIKE CHRISTMAS!

So this morning we went to the dr and got our ultra sound...and...its no longer an it...its a GIRL!!! and she is the cutest thing ever! we got to see her profile and her tiny feet and hands. She's got all her body parts and no extra ones, so she's perfect. she is definitely the best thing i've ever help create. I can't wait to meet her! We decided on a name, well a first name at least...Azelyn Petersen. I know its different but we love it! Well off to bed for me...makin a baby is hard work.

Good Morning

So last week my dear husband volunteered me to make dinner for his fam on Easter Sunday...yeah I know, he's so sweet. but needless to say it all actually turned out great despite my fears of ruining it. With the help of my mom coaching me on how to make mashed potatoes and rolls i felt like i could do anything, so i made deviled eggs all by myself with zero coaching, AND they turned out to be delicious believe it or not. So my dinner was edible and every one said it was good but i don't think anyone ate nearly enough because i have a ton of leftovers now. Oh well, i guess i won't have to make dinner for me and Jason for awhile then. Mash potatoes and roast all week baby!
So this friday is the big day! We'll be finding out if we are having a boy or a girl....!!!! I've always thought it was a boy but I only have dreams of baby girls so i can't wait to figure out the mystery. I can't believe i'm halfway through this pregnancy already, its crazy, I'll post some pics of my belly when Jas gets home, cuz he has them on his camera. Gotta say though, my belly ain't nothin to brag about. but just know that i'm trying to make it big. So i'm just sitting here at my table, eating my Honey Bunches of Oats and it sure is nice to be able to get up and eat again and keep it down. Some of you know how sick i was and man it sucked! i hated being prego at first. i threw up more than anyone else i knew that is pregnant. But now that i'm in my second trimester i feel awesome! my belly just won't stop growing now. The baby used to be measured from crown (top of head) to the rump (cute bum) but this week (20th) they start measuring head to toe and my baby is a whole 10 in long! crazy stuff being pregnant,

Well today is my first actual post to my blog! Just to update a little on whats goin on in our lives.....well we were married Feb. 2, 2008. We first lived out in Spanish Fork in Jason's parents house out there, then we moved in to our cute little trailer home out at my dad's shop in Saratoga Springs, and now we reside in Jason's parents old house in Saratoga Springs. yeah we move alot, but hope to stay here for at least a little while. I work at the Olive Garden in AF and Jason is a full time student and UVU. Yes we will be having a baby by the end of the summer but this is truly our second child... our beloved puppy Meeko is without a doubt our oldest son :) he is loved by all who meets him and he will be a wonderful big bro LOL.
Every week on the blog I will be posting the changes and growth of our baby. This is my 19th week and the baby now weighs just about 8 oz and is about the size of a cantalope.
